What a festive start this school year! On August 21, we proudly opened the doors of our new, modern school building to our students. After 15 months of construction, in which we paid attention to sustainability and greenery, our (almost) energy-neutral building is ready for a fresh start.
The 7,880-square-foot building offers plenty of space for learning and collaboration. There are bright work squares, studios and a science lab, all designed to challenge students with new "challenges. We have ensured good ventilation and plenty of natural light so that everyone feels comfortable in the space.
Everything has been thought of outside, too! Around the building there are many green areas to relax, play sports and get together during breaks, and we will even plant new trees to make the area even greener. The spacious bicycle parking area ensures that all bicycles are stored safely and neatly.
The teaching classrooms are cleverly arranged by knowledge domain, such as language, sports, and science subjects, so that students can develop to their full potential. For the bridge class, we have created its own break room in the void in the center of the building, while the other students can use the auditorium with stage on the first floor.
Our building reflects the future-oriented vision of Lorentz Casimir Lyceum. We look forward to continuing to grow and learn together here in an environment that is completely tailored to our students and our green future!
