On Saturday, January 25, we enthusiastically opened the doors to students in grades 7 and 8 and their parents and guardians during a festive Open Day. What a great day it was! The atmosphere was good, with a stream of curious visitors, exciting activities and our brand new school building that was admired to the full.
From the very first moment, there was a lively energy in the air. Our students took visitors on inspiring tours and proudly told them about their experiences at school. In the various subject classrooms, prospective students were able to experience for themselves how our education works in practice: from exciting experiments in the science lab to challenging assignments during the physics quiz.
In addition to the educational activities, there was also room for relaxation and socializing. Visitors enjoyed a delicious portion of poffertjes and a fresh cup of coffee from the barista, while interacting with teachers and students. Happy memories were captured in the photobooth and musical performances by our students provided an atmospheric ambiance.
Our renovated green park around the school was also fully discovered. Here visitors could take a break and experience how our school not only offers an inspiring learning environment, but is also a place where students feel at home. We look back with pride on this successful day and would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the nice atmosphere. Hopefully we will see you back at Lorentz Casimir Lyceum next year!
