Pass/pocket scheme

An exam candidate has passed as: 

• the average number of subjects of the central examination (CE) shall be at least 5,5 and all final figures shall be: 

• 6 or higher. Or: 

• 1 x 5 and all other final figures are 6 or higher. Or: 

• 1 x 4 or 2 x 5 or 1 x 5 and 1 x 4 and all other final figures are 6 or higher and the average of the final figures is at least 6.0. 

• for subjects Dutch, English, mathematics A, B or C, a maximum of 1 x 5 may be obtained as a final figure. 

In addition, the condition that physical education has been assessed as sufficiently qualified to perform the duties or to perform the duties shall be fulfilled.  

The figures for the subjects of social studies, CKV/Design and the profile workpiece are part of the combination figure. If a student has opted for the HavoPro course, this figure is also part of the combination figure. For each of these components, the rounded final figure shall not be less than 4. The CKV/Design box does not exist for gymnasists. For them, only the figures for social studies and the profile workpiece are part of the combination figure. 

A havo-student in whom the mathematics profession is not part of his curriculum must have completed a school mathematics exam. The result is given in an annex to the numerical list and does not affect the outcome of the examination.
