The promotion meeting

Decisions on promotion or rejection are made at a promotion meeting at the end of the school year. The year group coordinator chairs this meeting.

Revision

A decision made by the promotion meeting may be considered for revision, but only if new, essential information has become available after the meeting. A request for revision coming from a teacher or parent must be submitted to the rector no later than the date and time indicated in the annual calendar. At the revision meeting, the teachers teaching the student in question are required to be present. The rector or conrector is the chairperson of the meeting.

Profession

To appeal a decision of the revision meeting, please refer to the grievance procedure.

Standards

The promotion standards, which can be found at sections 7.10 through 7.12, are the starting point for the promotion meeting. The meeting may deviate from these standards for an individual student, but only in a positive sense. Other pupils with similar reports can never derive any rights from this.
