In many ways we try to involve parents in their children's school career. Besides the fact that parents can always contact the mentors/teachers about their child, we mention some organized activities.

In the first weeks of the school year, the school organizes an information evening for each grade level during which information is given on the choice of direction, profile, profession and study or other information relevant to the school year in question. For the 5 HAVO and 6 VWO examination classes an information evening is organized during which the final examination year is discussed.

Students receive reports twice a year. After the first report, three-way conversations (student, parent, subject teacher) take place where parents and students are given the opportunity to speak with the subject teachers and the mentor. These brief conversations are in many cases sufficient to exchange views or solve simple problems with the teacher. It is usually not possible to really go into things in depth. In any case, the small talk can have the character of an introductory conversation, making it easier to make an appointment for a longer talk. You can always reach our teachers through their e-mail address: achternaam.voorletter@lcl.nl.

After the second period, if necessary, students receive advice from their teachers in Magister Students incorporate this advice into a personal action plan. During the triangular meeting (student, parent, mentor) in April, students discuss this action plan with their parents and the mentor.
