For practical matters outside the lessons, we would like to appeal to the parents from the parent committee. The members of the parent committee are involved in the organisation and implementation of various (outside) school activities. Many activities could not be organised without the help of the Parents' Committee.
In addition, the Parents' Commission acts as an interlocutor to the Executive Board with regard to expressed wishes/ ideas regarding the functioning of the school and promotes general educational activities within our school community, such as an educational evening. The composition of the parent committee in the school year 2023-2024 is as follows:
Like all schools, our school has a participation council, which can and must be involved in many cases by the principal/driver. In the participation council, parents, pupils, teachers and educational support staff talk to each other and to the management about the general course of school. The MR regularly receives requests from the rector/driver to advise on, agree to or to reflect on policies of various kinds. The MR has advisory and consent powers in accordance with the WMS (Law on Participation at Schools).
The MR advises on the main lines of financial policy, the timetable, holiday arrangements, etc. The consent of the MR applies to subjects such as the educational objectives of the school, the school plan, safety and personnel policy.
