It is important to us that our students have the opportunity to discover new places and cultures. This gives them a broader view of the world around them, in which we are increasingly interconnected. We offer our students all kinds of opportunities when it comes to excursions and trips. There is an exchange with students from a school in Kempen (Germany), with history you can go to Bayeux (France), but there are also language trips to Lille and Cologne. And if you have French in your package you can go to Namur in year 4.
Yes, we have a wide range of extracurricular activities, from sports clubs and music classes to art workshops and debate clubs. There is something interesting for everyone to participate in.
We offer additional challenge and guidance for high-intelligent students in both the lower and upper grades. In the coming school year, GymnasiumPlus will start, a class for highly intelligent and gifted students. The regular curriculum for these students will be compacted, creating time for project learning, programming and philosophy. The teachers of this class have an affinity for teaching gifted students.
In grades 1 and 2 of havo and havo/vwo, students can take advantage of the homework class free of charge, where they can work under supervision and be helped to plan their schoolwork.
