The Lorentz Casimir Lyceum has a rich history of more than 90 years. Once started as two separate schools, the Lorentz Lyceum and the Rommert Casimir Havo, they merged into one in 1996. This merger brought together the best of both worlds: the scientific inspiration of Lorentz and the innovative teaching methods of Casimir. This high school in the Brandevoort neighborhood provides a safe and inspiring environment where students are challenged to develop their curiosity and research skills. With an eye for ecology and sustainability, nesting boxes for bats are installed, for example, and rainwater is collected and reused.
