Cambridge

More and more students want to study abroad or aspire to an international career. Each year, a number of students leave abroad after their exam to study at renowned institutes. Intensified language teaching consequently occupies an important place in our school.

During the first two years of study, all students follow English, Cambridge PRE. This means, among other things, that there is mainly in the lessons English is spoken. From the third year onwards, both at havo and vwo, talented students are offered the Cambridge programme, Cambridge PRO, in preparation for the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1). This is an official and internationally recognized certificate. Subsequently, students in vwo-5 can prepare for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2), the final level of which is qualified as "Near-Native'. No voluntary parental contribution is required. A compulsory parental contribution is required for the examination. The cost of these external examinations is approximately one-off €250,- for Cambridge and are paid by the school to the institute that takes the exams.
