It is with great sadness that we share the news that our student Guusje Roelofs has passed away. The dejection within our school is great, and her loss touches us deeply. The following day we welcomed all students to process this grief together. Her friends set up a memorial area at school that day: a place where students can retreat, come together to seek support from each other and remember Guusje. In addition, a condolence corner has been set up in our auditorium, where everyone can offer their last greetings.
Guus's sparkling smile and warm personality will always remain in our hearts. Our thoughts are with her parents, David Roelofs and Baukje Beekman and her brother Job. We wish them and everyone who loved her much strength. We are grateful for the moments we were able to share with her, memories that will forever be dear to us. We will miss her. Bye dear Guusje.
